What is WORCORA?
WORCORA (an acronym that stands for Worcester County Rainbow Alliance) is a small, unofficial group that gathers in Worcester County, Maryland, typically in Snow Hill, MD.
It is run by a queer couple who saw a need for more LGBTQIA+ outreach specifically in the Worcester County area. While neighboring areas have queer events, nothing was taking place directly in this area.
Mission Statement
WORCORA was created with the belief that every area should have a place for LGBTQIA+ people to gather and feel welcome, accepted and at home.
